Harnessing the Power of Essential Oils: Boost Your New Year Ambitions

New Year goals are great but can also bring pressure and anxiety. It's easy to procrastinate or become despondent that we’re not achieving what we hoped. Such feelings are common.

Thankfully, there are a number of essential oils that can help lift the spirits and get you going:

Peppermint: A wonderful invigorating oil that awakens the senses and helps concentration.

Lavender: Widely known to relieve stress and anxiety and clear the mind.

Grapefruit: Refreshing and energising. Helps ease tension and balance emotions.

Rosemary: Supports and focuses the memory. Improves alertness and invigorates the mind and body.

Vetiver: Helps to revive low energy levels, and soothe anxiety and nervousness.

Eucalyptus: Another great energiser and mind clearer.

You can use any of these essential oils in a diffuser. Try using one at a time or experiment with two together, and see which works best for you.

Alternatively, you may want to add the oils to a 10ml roller bottle using 4 drops for a 2% dilution and top it up with a carrier oil such as almond, jojoba or fractionated coconut oil. Can be used on the wrists, behind the ears and on the upper chest.
